VHT offers professional Floor Plans that can be added to your property tour. These Floor Plans are produced using computer aided design software and are prepared after an on-site measurement by a VHT Professional. VHT also produces Floor Plans from architectural blueprints or old, faded floor plans. Each VHT Floor Plan can be provided in either a horizontal (landscape) or a vertical (portrait) orientation. Finished Floor Plans can be downloaded and printed for use in brochures, presentations, e-mails, and/or websites.

Floor Plan Reconstruction

VHT can produce clean new Floor Plans from architectural blueprints. Often times an old existing floor plan is available, but it may have been a copy of a copy. Or, the old existing floor plan may include many unnecessary icons and measurements, making the floor plan difficult to read and interpret. VHT will use the old existing floor plan information and produce a new VHT Floor Plan that can be downloaded and printed for use in brochures, presentations, e-mails, and/or websites.

How long does it take for the VHT Professional to measure the property?
The VHT Professional will measure the property and shoot photographs and/or video on the same appointment. The time needed to measure the property is approximately 45 minutes. Please allow 15 minutes for each additional 500 SF.

When is the best time to order a Floor Plan?
It is best if the Floor Plan is ordered at the same time as the property tour. If the Floor Plan is ordered after the property tour order and it is within 24 hours of the appointment time, the VHT Professional will most likely have to schedule an additional appointment to come back and measure the property. How long does it take to complete?
Floor Plans are completed within 2-3 business days following the on-site measurement. Sometimes the photographs and/or video are completed before the Floor Plan. In these cases, the E-Postcard/Tour URL is distributed to the client and all website/distribution points. The Floor Plan is added to the E-Postcard/Tour URL once completed.

What if changes need to be made to the Floor Plan?
If changes need to be made to your Floor Plan, please print and mark up with your changes/corrections. Please fax your changes to 800-487-0265. Please be sure to review your Floor Plan shortly after delivery. We can only make changes within 5 business days after delivery. Additional change requests 5 days after delivery require a fee.

How is the Floor Plan Delivered?
Floor Plans are produced in PDF format and are delivered to the client via the E-Postcard. Floor Plans can be viewed and downloaded from the E-Postcard. If a property has a Floor Plan, an additional media type icon titled “Floor Plan” will be displayed on the E-Postcard. To view and/or download the Floor Plan, click this icon.
