Coldwell Banker Introduces
Video On Demand for Listings
Say good-bye to the old days of newspaper classifieds,
people can now surf their television to find a new home
Sarasota, Florida- November 30, 2006 - This week Coldwell Banker- NRT , the nation's largest real estate company, has introduced their latest consumer service in Florida - Video On Demand ( VOD ) for residential and commercial real estate listings. "We are embarking on something very exciting for the real estate industry - something that will revolutionize how we market our listings and how accessible those listings are to buyers," said Jan Loomis, Vice President of Marketing for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Inc.

Coldwell Banker-NRT has partnered with two industry leaders in visual communications to make utilizing this new technology possible - VHT and Comcast. Here is how the process begins: To get the listings onto Comcast's VOD Network the process starts with VHT, the preferred Visual Marketing provider of Coldwell Banker- NRT. VHT takes professional photographs of each listing. The images taken by VHT's photographers are then sent to VHT Studios, where they are optimized and enhanced to bring forth detail, make colors bold and bright, and to give the photograph crisp clarity - giving the viewer a better view of the home. Image Specialists in VHT Studios then use those photographs to create a more engaging tour of the home by placing them into a professional video presentation with specially selected background music.

Once the VHT Tour is completed it is sent to Comcast's VOD Network and is placed on their Homes On Demand channel (Channel 888). Each 15 second television commercial runs for seven full days and is viewable 24 hours a day by hundreds of thousands of viewers.
