Java and .Net Developer Positions

Using stunning professional photography as its foundation, VHT provides its clients with visual marketing tools, SEO and new marketing media options, such as the creation of visually stunning Video Tours that have the ability to be distributed to various social media sites.

We are rapidly growing our Chicago based organization and are looking for .NET or Java developers with 0-4 years experience to build up our web service offerings and update legacy code. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
     •        Develop Web, Windows, and Mobile applications in .NET 3.5/4.0
     •        Provide production support for existing legacy applications
     •        Work with all areas of the company to make sure requested applications are clearly designed, easy to use, self-explanatory &                        fulfill user needs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
     •         Solid understanding of Object-oriented design
     •         Proven knowledge of Java or .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET 2.0/3.5)
     •         Understanding of SOA architecture & MVC design pattern
     •         Knowledge of jQuery
     •         SQL Server 2005 / 2008
     •         Experience using an ORM like nHibernate, Entity Framework 4, Linq2SQL, etc

PLUSES:
     •         Knowledge in LINQ
     •         Knowledge and understanding of RESTful web services
     •         Experience in Test Driven Development
     •         Experience using a Continuous Integration system like CruiseControl.NET, TeamCity, Hudson, etc.
